Trashcan

The trashcan?s rope is the structural element that connects the plywood pieces, but also a flexible connection that allows the object to fold flat for shipping or storage. BEEM is part of a bigger project on objects made from biodegradable and compostable materials, which includes the use of common materials in innovative ways, such as rope, wood and fabric, but also the development of new materials for specific uses.
