DULCERÍA (Candy store)
With Dulceria I tried to play with the uselessness of traditional bookshelfs' structure. By making the structure out of containers, and allowing them to be used, the structure was also part of the storage nature of the piece. This piece was designed for the show "Diseño Muerto" (Dead Design) organized by Edgar Orlaineta for the Galería de Arte Mexicano (GAM) in Mexico City. During the opening the glass jars were filled with candy and people were allowed to eat them Year: 2005 |
