ESTUDIO
Stool

ESTUDIO is a stool inspired in simulators used in design studios to define the shapes of seats and backs. The screws can be places at different heights, allowing the user to define the shape that he likes the most. The process is a study in three dimensional surfaces, and hence the name of the piece, study.

This project was part of the show Materia Prima, installed at Ludens in Mexico City in August 2005. The exhibition was organized by Emiliano Godoy and featured pieces that used finished products as raw materials (materia prima) for new objects.
