Bench

This bench (Z) is part of my biological future research. There are not many options in term of environmentally friendly cushioning materials for upholstery. In that search I came accross "zacate", a vegetable sponge-like fruit that is usually peeled and used to scrub dishes.

Since it has some cushioning I sewed many of them together and made a cushion for the bench. The structure is made from white oak, glued with non-toxic substances and finished with carnauba wax.
