In this celebration we remember those who have passed by installing an altar with food, drinks, flowers and photographs from dead family members and friends. The Calaveritas de azúcar - sugar skulls – are used as decoration, or to remember someone, whose name is inscribed in the skulls forehead. I decided to work with their manufacturing process and materials, and decide to which extent they were applicable to design. |
