Industrial designers will prove to be key in the process of designing and implementing these new materials and systems. We are ideally suited to look at the big picture and to direct the development of a product or system in order to meet several different sets of criteria. Also, new materials need to be sought before they can exist, with their required properties and acceptable limitations in a way that fit a specific use. In other words, we are suited to design these new materials too. |
