We should consider disposability, regardless of the product’s intended use and life expentacy, a prominent criteria in the design process. Furthermore, we have to accept that our products will die, and we have to embed their appropriate disposal in their construction. We have to think more about disposability, and design for it. Instead of turning our back on death, we need to embrace it and design for it. |
